Log

The Log chronicles the research journey of Antarctic Animation. This can be read through a conventional Wordpress Blog or through the Chronovenn widget.

The Chronovenn widget is the result of original research by Tey Song Yuan (Robert Tey) as part of a Masters study completed with the Royal Melbourne Insitute of Technology in 2008.

The Chronovenn represents all Log entries within an animated interactive interface. An animated time-line reveals links to Log entries. These links appear as coloured dots that progressively display in chronological order as the widget is opened. The links appear in circles that represent categories, and groups of categories, under which these entries are classified.

The time-line is provided with two sliders. These allow for slicing windows of time through which to examine activities undertaken at particular stages of the research journey.
