My aim is to animate Antarctica through more eyes than my own, to offer different ways of knowing Antarctica.

Karin Beaumont’s artworks are often made in response to her concerns about threatened marine species. In herr work, Coccolithophorid, she has used visual alliteration, abstracting, repeating and varying its natural shapes and textures.
