KRILL CAM
KRILL CAM

Some people have gone nuts over KRILL CAM, where you can watch krill dance on-line. They have written a song about krill, to the tune of Killing Me Softly.

They play KRILL CAM to soothe their nerves. They play it over and over again, to music by Brian Eno and Roberta Flack.

They say people look a bit like their pets after a while. Or do we seek pets that look like us?

Anyway, there’s a definite krilliness about the eyes today, after all my krill-watching!

    Lisa:

I’m a big fan of confluence, synchronicity, and serendipity (do-dah), and as I was reading your e-mail about krill face, my neighbor, Kathleen Haugen, was working on this little monstrosity. She’d insisted on taking a picture of me and then grafting my head onto a poor, unfortunate krill. Things are obviously getting out of hand here in the Napa Valley.

I should say, however, that the precedent had been set my grafting my head
onto a kiwi bird, with an Elizabethan ruff no less. She saw this on my profile Facebook page and decided I needed a krill avatar. She had previously made me into a death’s head moth with ruff.

I love the page you made, and your website in general. Everyone has been going there first, and then on to Krill Cam. You’ve joined the krill tsunami, but you have the bona fides of having been there in person!

Your work is inspiring. If I’m that festive as I approach 60, I will be
    very happy indeed!
