Open access dance

In March 2003 Flores Zanchi reviewed London’s new Laban Centre, designed by architects Herzog and de Meuron:

According to Laban’s philosophy that dance is therapeutic and must be accessible to all, the Swiss architects conceived of the centre as a public building where anyone may go to have a cup of coffee, watch a show in the 300 seat auditorium or simply observe the lessons going on in the world’s most important school of dance.
