Testing the usability of the site with Kathryn, I’m alerted to navigation problems I’d not picked up until now. I can get too close to the work, and be blind to the bleeding obvious. For example, text on the ‘About ‘ page needs to be more succinct. Headers for the Dictionary definitions have been changed from ‘Thesaurus’ to ‘Dictionary’.
Kathryn has just given me the new edition of Strunk and White’s Elements of Style, visually annotated by artist Maria Kalman. What at treat! So succinct!
